Our Consumer Partners division are seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst, playing a governance specialist role to the Head of Risk & Compliance - Governance, supporting the Consumer Partners Division at Allianz. You will play a pivotal role in reporting to and engagement with the Chief General Manager, General Managers and other key senior stakeholders on business-critical risk and compliance matters and metrics.
About the role
- Provide risk & compliance support into areas surrounding CPS230 requirements such as resilience, service provider management and third-party risk management (TPRM).
- Providing advice on the design, implementation and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of division-specific compliance and risk frameworks, policies, procedures, template/tools and controls in support of the above, ensuring that business activities remain within the defined risk appetite.
- Providing advice on the implementation and promotion of corporate compliance and risk frameworks and policies, liaising closely with the Second Line of Defence on all divisional-specific risk management and compliance matters, ensuring that operational compliance plans, quarterly risk declarations and risk views and all risk and control assessment activities are kept up-to-date and adhered to.
- Providing consultative guidance on both current and anticipated operational and business risks, and in the development of processes to manage risk in line with the Board approved risk appetite and Allianz Risk Management Framework.
- Monitoring and reporting on key risk indicators and internal control performance to relevant internal stakeholders, as well as management of breaches, incidents and issues, provide insights on root causes & preventative actions key and emerging risks, controls assurance and regulatory change.
About you
- Experience in risk management and compliance in a complex, matrixed financial services (corporate) organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
- Demonstrated experience in assessing the level of risk and in developing and executing plans to mitigate risk.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Proven learning agility, analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
