Service Manager – Finance (People Enabling Technologies)
Position Overview
Under the People & Culture Platforms at Allianz Technology, we are launching a new service named People Enabling Technologies (PET), which comprises a suite of vendor-managed SaaS applications designed to enhance group people & culture initiatives. The Financial Service Manager for PET will oversee all financial aspects of the service, including planning, budgeting, pricing, revenue management, forecasting, and purchase order and invoice management. Beyond financial responsibilities, the role also involves supporting compliance-related service management areas such as SPM, ARS, DPRA, DPA, among others.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Management:
- Oversee end-to-end financial support for PET applications, including budget planning, pricing strategies, and revenue collection.
- Manage all costs related to internal/external FTE bookings, infrastructure, pre-product and vendor expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with account managers from different Allianz Operational Entities to align financial strategies and support customer needs. Simultaneously guarantee the collection of revenue.
- Support monthly financial forecasting and controlling activities to maintain financial health and predict future trends. Highlight the achievements and potential risks.
- Handle purchase orders and manage vendor invoice payments accurately and efficiently. Ensure timely contract renewals and terminations.
- Provide accurate reporting and insights to support management decisions, including dashboards and financial projections.
Service Management:
- Support SPM onboarding of new tools in the service cluster
- Assist the application compliance activities such as DORA TPRM, DPRA, ARS and PenTest
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure IT services align with organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation, driving initiatives to enhance IT service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably within an IT SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in Budgeting, financial forecasting and controlling.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, pricing models, and revenue management.
- Excellent numerical skills; advanced Excel proficiency required.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with experience in engaging both technical teams and business.
- Willingness to learn and support IT compliance topics
