About the Job
We are looking for an exceptional Senior ABAP Developer to join our Financial Asset Management (FAM) team, a core component of Allianz Group’s capital investment processing.
In this role, you will drive the design and development of high-impact solutions using SAP technologies, while gaining expertise in the SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) module — a key area for the management of securities, loans, and derivatives across multiple accounting standards (IAS39, IFRS9, HGB, and local GAAPs).

What you do
- Lead the development of complex and scalable solutions in the financial investment area using ABAP and ABAP-OO.
- Drive end-to-end development tasks: requirements engineering, solution design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Work closely with experts to learn and master SAP TRM functionality and its relevance for investment accounting.
- Design and implement custom interfaces integrating SAP TRM with additional platforms and systems.
- Contribute to innovative initiatives such as SAP RISE, S/4HANA transformations and AI-driven use cases.
- Participate in international projects, providing post-go-live support (incidents and change requests).
- Collaborate with a global and diverse team, working closely with business and IT stakeholders.
What you bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in ABAP / ABAP-OO development, with the ability to independently deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business processes.
- Experience in finance-related SAP modules (e.g., FICO) is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Interest and willingness to learn SAP TRM and deepen knowledge of financial instruments (previous knowledge is beneficial but not required).
- Experience with SAP Fiori or UI5 is a strong advantage.
- A customer-centric mindset, autonomy, accountability, and proactive problem solving.
- Fluent English communication skills and enthusiasm for new technologies (e.g., S/4HANA, AI, Machine Learning).
- University degree in business, economics, computer science, or a related area.
