About the Job
We are seeking an exceptional Senior SAP FAM ABAP Developer to be a key player in our Financial Asset Management (FAM) team, a cornerstone of Allianz Group's capital investment processing. This individual will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by utilizing the advanced SAP standard software SAP-TRM / IMA to expertly manage the entire lifecycle of securities, loans, and derivatives—from acquisition to accounting—adhering to diverse accounting standards including IAS39, IFRS9, HGB, and other local GAAPs.
What you do
- Lead the development of sophisticated, customer-specific solutions in the financial investment domain using ABAP.
- Provide expert advice on investment accounting, specializing in SAP TRM (Treasury and Risk Management).
- Drive the consulting and implementation of bespoke interfaces to integrate additional platforms with SAP TRM.
- Collaborate on and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions such as SAP RISE and S/4HANA, with active involvement in AI environments.
- Play a pivotal role in international projects, offering comprehensive post-go-live support, including incident and change request management.
- Engage with a dynamic international team and manage a diverse global customer landscape.
What you bring
- In-depth understanding of financial instruments and investment processes is advantageous; experience with SAP Fiori is highly beneficial.
- Proven track record with SAP applications in finance, particularly SAP FICO or SAP TRM, is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer focus, coupled with autonomous working methods, initiative and accountability.
- Proficient in English, strong communication skills as well as curiosity, innovative thinking and enthusiasm for emerging technologies like S/4HANA.
- University degree in business administration, economics, (business) computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in programming ABAP or ABAP-OO.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
