Job description

The role

 

Lead and deliver different type of large scale/high impact programs, e g

  • decommissioning of legacy applications with roll-outs in the different OES
  • maintenance of already implemented OES
  • ensure the right balance between evolutions / running activities / roll-outs and required rafactoring
  • continuous process improvement initiatives organizational-/transformations
  • change management initiatives on cross-functional/-regional level while ensuring that the plan realizes benefits in the best way for the company.

 

Main tasks

 

The Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of programs and projects on a larger and complex scale, applying any project management methodology in close collaboration with business partners, team members and various IT functions.
Leads, plans and monitors the program end-to-end according to the approach/method chosen.


Responsible to manage his program perimeter, giving detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation.
In coordination with the program IT manager, ensure the right balance between functional backlog and IT refactoring backlog.
With the Product Manager, miantain the backlog of the pogram and this aligned between the different managed business areas and the other ITMP systems.
Ensure synergies between the different team locations (Paris & Bucharest). 
Industrialize the roll-out processes with the relevant project stakeholders (document configuration and migration processes) in order to keep the roll-out milestones.
With the PM, the different POs and the IT manager, take the appropriate measures to maitain the stock of tickets. 
With the IT manager, ensure post-mortens consecutive to incidents are set up and executed.


Align and coordinate activities between related projects without directly managing them.
Complete Project Investment Committee (PIC) documents and get respective validation.  
Ensure clarity and good transparency across the entire project regarding the mission and objective.
Ensures that the plan realizes benefits according to success criteria.
Provide oversight and control of any internal or external resources contracted to the project.  
Report program status to all relevant levels.
Proactively manage issues, risks and respective mitigations.
Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders on all levels within and outside the company (as needed).
Perform relevant role according to approach and / or lead the project team.
Plan and manage the respective budget, and track closely respective spending's.
Deliver high quality according to given boundaries of selected approach (resources, budget, time, success criteria's, metric).
Advice and provide support to the project team as relevant.
Use negotiation skills, influence and creativity to achieve successful outcomes around scope, schedule, costs/budget, issues/risks, and resources.
Manages program sourcing (incl. external sourcing and relevant budgets) to secure timely program delivery. 
Arbitrate and resolve conflict within the program when necessary. Understand appropriate paths and methods for escalation.
Ensures that required information for Agile@Scale artifacts and events is available and up to date.
Ensures Group OPS & IT, as well as CARE guidelines are applied in the daily way of working (processes, documentation, tools usage, ...).


Manage internal processes to maintain proper agile KPIs (velocity, sprint KPIs, tests coverage, users stories attached to business needs ...).
Be aware of the application's SLA and ensure its compliance.

  • Need a deep understanding of the Company Strategy and especillay Commercial, PM and Claims & Collections strategy
  • Need a deep understanding of IT Architecture
  • Strong Leadership, and capacity to interact with C-Level
