Recovery Officer - RAA - Adelaide

This role is currently based in Mile End and will relocate to Adelaide City in June 2026

 

About the role

  • Support the recovery process by managing correspondence, processing payments and receipts, and ensuring all tasks were completed accurately and on time.
  • Respond to phone and email enquiries with professionalism and care, escalating complex matters to senior team members when required.
  • Handle billing, invoicing, and receipting duties to maintain smooth and efficient recovery operations.
  • Provide empathetic and professional service to both internal and external customers while upholding company standards and compliance requirements.
  • Negotiate settlements and payment terms within set guidelines, recommending debt write-offs when appropriate and ensuring all financial transactions were processed with precision.

 

About you

  • Experienced in claims management, settlement negotiations, or similar recovery roles, with the ability to demonstrate strong negotiation skills and provide recommendations for settlements and payment arrangements.
  • Possesses strong communication skills, capable of delivering professional service to customers by effectively identifying and addressing their needs.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possesses strong organisational and analytical skills, able to manage and action correspondence, process payments, receipts and other duties to achieve successful recovery outcomes.
