Project Manager Intern

Key responsibilities

The department Organizational Management (OM) is in charge of driving global IT projects across all lines of business of Allianz Partners. They act as the main interface between LoB globally and the IT provider, dedicated to provide IT standard services. 
 
The team is responsible for supporting the LoB in rolling-out approved and prioritized IT related investments and fostering harmonization of processes, through the implementation of the group target platforms.

Join our team as an intern and explore how Artificial Intelligence can transform the way we manage global IT projects. Your mission will be to analyze current project management practices and identify areas where AI can bring measurable improvements in efficiency, decision-making, and collaboration.

Through this role, you will have the main following responsabilities:
 

1/ Analyze & Observe
•    Shadow project managers to understand current workflows, tools, and challenges.
•    Map out key project management processes across different Lines of Business (LoBs).

2/ Identify AI Opportunities
•   Identify AI tools and techniques relevant to project management, leveraging internal ChatGPT, AI Agents, Copilot. 
•   Propose use cases where AI could enhance planning, risk management, reporting, or stakeholder communication.
•   Perform a benchmark of the best AI capabilities relevant to project management

3/  Prototype & Test
•    Collaborate with the team to test AI-based tools or models.
•    Evaluate the impact of proposed solutions on efficiency, accuracy, and user experience

4/  Report & Recommend 
•    Present findings and recommendations to the team and department.
•    Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting lessons learned and best practices.

What you bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, with a focus on AI.
• Interest in project management and emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a multicultural environment.
