MOTOR INSURANCE - DATA ENGINEER

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

The candidate will be introduced in the Street Pricing Motor Unit and will be involved in the following activities:

• Data preparation and maintenance of its infrastructure
• Motor Area Performance monitoring
• Development and updating of unit reports
• Data preparation development  

KEY REQUIREMENTS

•    Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Physics or similar
•    Experience as Data Engineer/Scientist, IT Analyst or similar
•    Previous experience for 3-5 years in Insurance field, familiarity with Motor business  would be an advantage
•    Good knowledge of Data Lakes, SQL, Python and its development environments (ex Jupiter, etc)
•    Experience working with cloud environments
•    Good knowledge of Office Suite, in particular Excel and Power Point
•    Data analytics and data reporting
•    Good knowledge of English and Italian language (written and spoken)
•    Proactive and innovative attitude in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leading
•    Great curiosity in order to create an overall vision
