Medical Network Specialist

Job Summary And Purpose
The Medical Network Specialist will support the Local Medical Provider Manager to manage and expand the Healthcare Network in Greece . You will onboard providers and ensure cost-effective medical services. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with healthcare providers and internal stakeholders, contributing to Allianz’s growth and strategic goals in the region.

Key Responsibilities / What You Do

·  Support the Local Medical Provider Manager to manage and expand the Healthcare Network in Greece with focus on Third Party Administrator Health business, to provide a comprehensive network at an optimized cost,
·  Support with provider onboarding, contracting and provider screening,
·  Maintain the service provision contracts, in order to ensure their full compliance and validity,
·  Bear primary responsibility of maintaining provider databases up to date,
·  Prepare and analyze data from various data sources to support with pricing and cost containment activities,
·  Ensure generation of Periodic Dashboards to evaluate and monitor claim cost, identify the utilization trends & variances,
·  Prepare reporting for Medical Provider Management, Allianz Partners entities and clients,
·  Working across departments to resolve provider related service issues, owning and managing issues to closure.

Key Requirements / What You Bring

·  Bachelor’s in Insurance, Healthcare, or a related field,
·  2+ years of experience in network administration, preferably within hospitals, insurance companies, or TPAs,
·  Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint),
·  Strong data analysis and reporting skills,
·  Strong organizational skills,
·  Problem solving abilities,
·  Effective interpersonal and communication skills,
·  Native Greek with fluent English (written and spoken),
·  Knowledge of the local medical and healthcare industry.
