MANAGER OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES – PERSONAL INJURY - MELBOURNE (10-MONTH SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY)

About the role

This is a 10-month secondment opportunity and the primary purpose of this role is to oversee the management of promoting early return to work (RTW)  management strategies with our workers, employers, treating health practitioners and WorkSafe to ensure sustained early return to work for workers.

 

  • Working with Claims Manager, Manager, Team Manager, Team Leader, and Case Manager to identify key areas of improvement and implement strategies to address these areas
  • Overseeing Front End Injury Management Function
  • Managing Allianz Occupational Rehabilitation Provider Panel, including Panel performance, relationships & internal/external reporting
  • Understanding key drivers involved in RTW and work with the Claims Manager, Team Manager and Claims Teams to implement strategies for improvement.
  • Contributing to the development of the professional capability of the case managers through regular interactions aimed at case specific strategy awareness and development opportunities.

 

About you

  • Has demonstrated experience in holding a Management role in the VIC scheme
  • Strong service capability through coordination of onsite meetings with Workers, Employers and THPs
  • Return to Work focus and an ability to influence and negotiate with providers and treating practitioners to achieve return to work outcomes
  • Flexible approach to claims management strategies
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
