Construct capability roadmaps leveraging financial knowledge and various teams. Evaluate targeted solutions consistent with architectural standards and best practices for the ALIP capability. Provides techno functional leadership in tactical planning and participates in strategic planning (demand, capacity, and evolution) for the capability. Collaborates with Enterprise Architect on prioritizations and implementation of new architectures. Maintains shared models, diagrams and documentation to effectively articulate multiple views of the capabilities technical architecture and ensures compliance with Enterprise Architect recommendations, patterns and standards. Ensures alignment between IT Spend and Business Goals/Strategies. Leverages a Matrixed Organization to translate ambiguity into Business Results.
What you do
- Provides financial business domain guidance with emphasis on Annuity products in ALIP related projects, and ensuring the various systems within the Capability are properly leveraged.
- Use techno functional knowledge and financial acumen to propose new policy administration projects. Authors/Participates in Capability Roadmapping. Establishing change agendas in alignment with Enterprise Architecture Roadmaps and Business Drivers.
- Participates in ALIP Capability Maturation. Establishing and Advocating for target Capability Maturity Models, including technical, staff and financial business process changes. Participate in the definition, establishment, documentation, implementation and maintenance of Admin system Architecture policies, standards, methods and procedures. Participates in annual Budget Cycle by filtering and prioritizing technology projects for ALIP Capability. Leads technology surveys to evaluate changes in the insurance admin system marketplace.
- Analyze the current capability portfolio to identify weaknesses and work with Enterprise Architecture to develop opportunities for improvement such as expanding capacity, reducing complexity, reducing time & cost, and increasing effectiveness.
- Provides technical direction to Solution Engineers within the Capability to help implement complex financial calculations on the ALIP admin system.
- Develop both Conceptual and Detailed Architectural plans focusing on the realization of the defined business value within ALIP capability.
- Participate in definition, evaluation and testing of Enterprise Architecture patterns and defines the Capability standards and patterns
- Develop and implement strategic plans to address complex business challenges, leveraging analytical skills to optimize performance and enhance business outcomes.
- Lead and mentor technical teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
- Contribute toward the adoption and integration of cloud technology and AI solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling data-driven decision-making.
