Investigator Officer – RAA - Adelaide

About the role 

• Manage a portfolio of high-risk claims and case manage all activities associated with the Investigation of a claim.
• Act as the conduit between the member and our third-party partners, ensuring all parties are communicated with accurately and in a timely manner
• Draft peer-review claim denial letters where an investigation outcome results in a claim denial, and work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and strengthen fraud prevention measures
• Ensure thorough compliance investigations while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
• Maintain positive member interactions during investigations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.

About you

• Extensive experience in claims management across multiple products gained in a complex, matrixed general insurance or financial organisation. Ideally with experience in a similar investigation role.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident negotiator, with the ability to guide through influence.
• Able to manage well under pressure and can priorities and deliver within provided timelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to process complex information and apply critical thinking to make considerations and recommendations.
• Knowledge of legal issues including the justice system and basic liability would be preferred.
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
