Finance Solutions Analyst (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Finance Solutions Analyst (m/f/d), based in Munich.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Head of Finance Reporting & Analytics Solutions of Allianz Commercial, you will join an international and engaging team. This position plays a key role in ensuring that finance requirements are understood and translated into successful technical solutions. The holder of this position will ensure the provision of financial solutions and tools that are effective and compliant.  In addition, you will work on both business as usual (BAU) activities such as system adjustments or support closing processes, as well as significant project work such as implementing solutions that support new financial standards and ensuring that they are always fit for purpose.  We work in a fully agile environment and this means that the person will work closely with stakeholders in multiple departments, across Allianz Commercial and the wider Allianz operating entities.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Define, drive, and deliver financial solutions and end-to-end optimized processes in collaboration with CFO pillars, IT, and business stakeholders. Ensure detailed testing and documentation.
• Perform analyses in the Finance domain to identify business needs and anticipate current and future requirements.
• Support the closing, planning and payment process by coordinating and monitoring associated activities and by identifying and resolving resulting issues. Follow governance processes in the responsibility of Finance Solutions.
• Review audit findings related to financial applications and processes; identify actions to address findings and implement mitigation steps with stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Finance and (re-) insurance know-how, ideally P&C
• Project and team work in an international environment
• Understanding of data modeling, operations, and workflows for financial reporting
• Agile methods expertise as Proxy Product Owner or Business Expert in Agile Release Trains
• Knowledge of application and process development in Financial Service Industry
• The ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-driven decision-making is valuable.
• Proven experience in communication of results to a variety of stakeholders including senior management
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, team collaboration, adaptability
• Affinity to finance and IT
• Fluent English skills
