Job role
We are hiring a talented Accountant to join our team in Bucharest office. The role is part of Bucharest Financial Hub which provides day to day and month end closing accounting support for Allianz entities.
What you will do
• Reconciliation of the accounting postings with various financial date and reporting
• Reconciliation of the Trial balances with the feeder systems
• Reconciliation and clearing of the Suspense Accounts
• Process the daily accounting postings for Investment Accounting
• Generating specific reporting from various feeder systems
• Mortgages reporting, e.g. the generation of deeds of assignment
• Payments’ processing and preparation
• Monthly closing tasks
• External / Internal audit evidences’ collection
• Handling ad-hoc requests/queries from internal/external parties

You have
• University Degree (preferably Accounting, Economics or Finance)
• Strong accounting skills. IFRS 17 and insurance accounting skills are a plus
• Financial instruments’ lifecycle knowledge (e.g. bonds, equities, derivatives, repos…)
• Treasury management basic knowledge
• Settlement management and instructions input basic knowledge
• SAP Knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office (primarily Excel)
• English work-proficiency level
