Account Manager – Consumer – Brisbane (12 months Secondment/fixed-term contract)

About the role

  • Collaborate closely with a portfolio of our Automotive, Financial Institutions and Mortgage Broker Partners to develop and nurture strategic business plans that support shared sales goals.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with Partners by understanding their evolving needs and skilled at identifying opportunities to introduce products and upgrades that add value.
  • Grow and enrich existing Partner portfolios with care, while thoughtfully managing budgets to support sustainable success.
  • Act as a dedicated partner liaison, fostering open communication and supporting Partners’ strategic planning with empathy and attentiveness.
  • Monitor progress and maintain clear, organized records, applying effective, respectful sales approaches and ensuring all partnerships follow compliance guidelines.

 

About you

  • Account management experience within financial services, insurance or the automotive industries as well as proven success in managing client relationships and partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled in collaborative business planning, persuasive negotiation, and influencing to create Partner-centered solutions through the analysis of data and financial insights.
  • Confident and engaging communicator able to deliver clear, impactful presentations that connect with senior audiences. Furthermore, you are able to foster trust and alignment between parties.
  • Possesses knowledge of insurance products and legislation, with a keen ability to understand market needs and can drive business development opportunities that enhance organisational growth.
  • Actively cultivates and fosters professional relationships and networks, strengthening industry ties and encouraging mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
