Allianz Partners offers an exciting 10-week internship program designed to immerse students in the dynamic world of business and insurance. This program provides hands-on experience and opportunities to work on impactful projects with a focus on project management and cross-departmental collaboration. Interns will gain valuable exposure to the workings of a top global company, while enhancing their professional development through exclusive networking events, mentorship, and lunch-and-learn sessions.

 

Program Details:

·  Start Date: Monday, June 2, 2025
·  End Date: Friday, August 8, 2025
·  Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
·  Work Environment: Hybrid (in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

 

What you do:

·  Identify business opportunities by applying algorithmic, statistical, and data mining techniques to large datasets.
·  Work closely with business teams to define problems, articulate the value of advanced analytics, and highlight the resources and collaborations required to achieve optimal outcomes.
·  Assist in gathering and cleaning data from various sources to prepare the necessary datasets for analysis.
·  Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to optimize data for model development.
·  Contribute to the development of predictive models, selecting appropriate methodologies based on data characteristics and business needs.
·  Support the presentation of results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior business leaders.
·  Create non-technical reports summarizing project outcomes, including successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvements.

 

What you bring:

·  Current rising junior or senior, pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
·  Proficiency in Python programming or a similar program for data analysis and model development.
·  Solid understanding of advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and related subfields.
·  Familiarity with SQL databases and handling different types of data files.
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
·  Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to solve business challenges.
·  A strong desire to learn, adapt quickly, and apply new concepts and tools.
·  Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with cross-functional teams when necessary.
·  An eagerness to take ownership of tasks and demonstrate accountability for your work.
