Job Summary
Review and process MGCC case requests, which include opening new cases, providing claims status and requesting required information for claims processing from customers, business units, agents and providers.
Key responsibilities
· Open new Interco and MGCC cases for both assistance and cost containment requests, set them up for success in a timely manner and in accordance to established workflow guidelines.
· Review, enter and update documentation into the computer system/databases such as provider invoices, UB, HCFA, vendor information and payment approvals for claims processing.
· Receive and respond to incoming emails related to claim questions and escalations.
· Place outbound calls to customers, providers, business units and agents to obtain information required for claims processing.
· Respond to inter-departmental inquiries.
· Conduct administrative/logistical maintenance of case requirements.
· Be available to work in office or home depending on operations need.

What you bring
· Post-secondary education and a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
· Superb verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate professionally and articulately via phone and email with stakeholders.
· Ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task.
· Ability to use initiative and independent judgment in solving problems.
· Possess sound judgment and good decision-making skills.
· Good understanding of world geography and current events.
· Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
· Fluency in English is mandatory.
