Local & Central Compliance Officer

Job description

Job Purpose/Role:

 

·  The Local Compliance Officer is responsible for the local implementation and oversight of Allianz Technology SE Compliance programs within Spain.  Additionally, the Compliance Officer closely collaborates with other second line of defence functions, in particular Risk Management.
·  The Central Compliance Expert provides topic specific support and advice to all Local Compliance Officers across Allianz Technology SE.

 

Compliance is organized in a regional model (Europe, India, APAC, North America and growing into other regions) to ensure proximity to its customers and to support the business; the central team provides support to all businesses.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Central Team Member:

 

·  Managing the global design of the Allianz Technology Compliance Programs. Designing compliance frameworks and leading the effective implementation across AZ Technology entities across the globe.
·  Collaborating with stakeholders within the Compliance Department and broader business and providing training to Local Compliance Officers to improve the understanding of Compliance Topics.
·  Monitoring EU wide regulatory developments for assigned Compliance Topics.
·  Supporting the organization in maintaining an effective compliance culture.
·  Advising the Relationship Managers and Local Compliance Officers on assigned Compliance topics.

 

 

Local Compliance Officer:

 

·  Support the rollout and implementation of the Allianz Technology Compliance Management System in your area of responsibility
·  Compliance Risk Identification and Assessment and control environment assurance activities
·  Monitoring of Compliance with Internal, External and Contractual Requirements
·  Providing Compliance Training and Communication
·  Compliance Investigations and Incident Handling
·  Compliance Reporting incl. monthly maintenance of Compliance Issue Management Tool (CIMT) as well as of the Compliance Case Management Tool (CCMT)
·  Support Compliance Reviews
·  Support global Compliance projects/initiatives as the case may be
·  Act as local point of contact with other safeguarding functions and key stakeholders on all Compliance topics

 

 

Key Requirements

 

·  3 + years of professional experience in Financial Services, Technology, Compliance or other safeguarding functions
·  Business fluent English. Spanish skills are a plus.
·  Strong team-work skills and intercultural experience
·  Excellent communication skills and strong presentation skills. Experience of preparing Senior/Board level reports a plus.
·  Applying analytical thinking and conflict management skills
·  Higher education degree or qualification in Compliance, Legal, Business, Engineering, Education, Computer Science, MBA  etc. a plus.
·  Highest ethical standards and integrity
·  Microsoft Office tool skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
