We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d), based in Munich. 

  

Your Team  

Within CFO Global Performance Steering (GPS), you will join a diverse team of 6 within the Strategic Controlling team.  

 

The Impact You Will Have 

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Controlling you will be the main communication channel to the Group, helping the CFO to steer business.  

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

· 
Provide financial analysis for own area of responsibility, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities with transparent recommendations. 

· 
Present financial conclusions with robust commentary to enable decision-making. 

· 
Manage regular reporting, forecasting, and planning processes, meeting customer and global requirements. 

· 
Oversee business as usual tasks (e.g., customer requests, target achievement calculations). 

· 
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned. 

· 
Drive best practices, efficiency improvements, and global standard setting, aligning with CFO colleagues. 

· 
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance business understanding and coordinate global processes and initiatives. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

· 
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and effective messaging, with knowledge of reporting tools like SAP. 

· 
Expertise in finance and insurance, especially P&C, and understanding of complex insurance group structures (consolidation, legal vs. management views). 

· 
In-depth knowledge of insurance financial statements and performance metrics. 

· 
Understanding of IFRS 17 P&L and its drivers. 

· 
Familiarity with Allianz Commercial business specifics, including business flows. 

· 
Professional experience in reinsurance, P&C insurance, asset management or management consultancy, with strong analytical and numeracy skills. 

· 
Proven ability in project management, team collaboration, and clear communication to diverse stakeholders in an international environment.
