Within the Security & Resilience division of Allianz Technology SE, Protection & Resilience (P&R) is a global team that brings together experts to anticipate and prepare our organization to respond to, and recover from, any disruption, emergency or crisis situation whilst at the time, find opportunities to continuously and comprehensively build resilience both internally as well as across the entire Allianz Group. One of its domains is the Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC) functioning as the central hub for scenario analysis, horizon scanning and incident management at Allianz Technology.
For this team, we are looking for an Intelligence Fusion Centre Analyst who has a background in a relevant resilience/intelligence/security-related discipline to help drive our Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC) and support on Protective Security topics. You would functionally report to the Global Head of Protection & Resilience; being responsible for strategic intelligence and incident/security monitoring activities from researching, analyzing, and evaluating strategic risks and threats, contextualizing for the purpose and needs of our organization. What you do
- Identify, monitor, and assess strategic risks and threats impacting the organization, researching, interpreting, analyzing, and processing data from internal and external sources to contextualize intelligence for Allianz Technology's needs.
- Draft and publish reports to senior managers and key stakeholders to build situational awareness and enable sound decision-making regarding ongoing and emerging situations, while logging and tracking incidents or potential incidents for crisis and incident management.
- Support the Back-office team in rotational on-call duty and contribute to improving processes for rapid assessments and situational awareness of emerging, developing, or actual situations through enhanced horizon scanning related to risk, security, and resilience.
- Assist in positioning the Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC) as the central hub for monitoring, preparing, and aiding organizational preparedness and response to strategic threats, incidents, and crises.
- Ensure learning from internal and external events and incidents are integrated into internal protection and resilience programs, assisting in developing long-term data-driven strategies to strengthen resilience.
- Contribute to strategies related to risk, resilience, and security, providing tactical and/or operational support to crisis operations as required.
- Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to risk, resilience, security, and intelligence, performing other related activities as required by the Global Head of Protection & Resilience.
What you bring
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in two or more areas: intelligence, security, protective security, crisis management, emergency management, disaster management, risk management, resilience, business continuity management, analysis, project management, governance, strategy, business administration, or related fields.
- University degree in a relevant discipline such as disaster/emergency management, risk management, international security, business administration, political science, economics, or related fields.
- Ideally, experience in the use of industry-leading global threat monitoring tools, with solid analytical and conceptual skills to contextualize and provide meaning to intelligence, rapidly digesting, evaluating, and filtering large quantities of information.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and work objectives, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence effectively in written and verbal forms.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously under pressure, with familiarity in communication and presentation tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
- Capability to build collaborative working relationships and work in virtual, international, and complex team environments, with advanced proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Enhance the ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts and contribute to global initiatives. International work experience is desirable but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
