Job role

 

The role implies leading, supervising and guiding the Insurance Operations Services team, that provide different services in the claims and policy admin value chain  in order to fulfil customer satisfaction and business needs.

 

What you will do

 

·  Works under immediate supervision of Head of Pillar and may have Management Trainees / People Coordinators under supervision;
·  Provides support to new business opportunities. Takes an active supporting role in bids and supports the transition and implementation of new business (including new service offers);
·  Provides expert problem management support to difficult, high profile customer issues and ensures root cause analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through with any learning applied for future benefit;
·  Driving improvements and implementation of global operation processes and quality assurance as well as the development of policies and procedures regarding the areas in scope;
·  Leads and develops people in accordance with the Allianz People Attributes, leadership values and relevant guidelines;
·  Enables the team to function effectively, follows clear priorities in alignment with the strategy and ensures that these are met;
·  Prioritizes, delegates and controls tasks, balances workloads and steers capacity in the team;
·  Communicates actively and ensures proactive information management and may guide employees through change initiatives;
·  Acts as a bridge between the local teams and relevant stakeholders (alignment for targets, roles, growth strategy, complexity of tasks);
·  P&L responsibilities at the team level;
·  Delivers team presentations, sets team meetings, informal voice of the team, results presentation, travel administration;
·  Delivers results presentation and supports the organization and the team in floor walks and customer visits.
·  Other operational responsibilities might occur, in line with the service line coordinated.

 

 

What you bring

 

·  Relevant experience in people management (managing managers) & client management (min 5 years)
·  Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint;
·  Strong organizational, planning and structuring skills;
·  Fluent in German and English, must be able to hold presentations and lead meetings in German and English;
·  Experience in working in multicultural environments, especially in joint off shoring & on shoring delivery models.
