Who will you join?

 

At Group Sourcing & Procurement you get the chance to contribute to an exciting and challenging global task by further enhancing and implementing a sustainable governance and control organization to best in class which will be able to meet internal and external (regulatory) requirements.
The Governance and Control team is part of the Procurement Excellence team and in its role responsible for overseeing the procurement operating model and rules within Allianz.  
Do you have extensive experience in governance processes within large organizations? Are you knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and capable of contributing to the three lines of defense framework of a regulated entity? Are you skilled in analytical thinking and possess excellent communication abilities? If so, you would be an ideal addition to our team! 

 


How can you make an impact?

 

  • You develop and implement global procurement standards and procedures (incl. SE Solo as an own entity) to ensure consistency and compliance across all local operating entities 
  • In this role, you establish Compliance Monitoring with procurement policies and regulatory requirements, conduct local spot checks and assessments to identify and address deviations or risks in Operating Entities and prepare proper management reporting
  • You identify and manage procurement risks and controls in the context of the Allianz Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) process to safeguard the organization's interests
  • You are coordinating Audit requests and are responsible for the findings management
  • You review external and internal rules and regulations and ensure proper reflection in the global Procurement standards and controls 
  • You perform regular maverick buying and No PO trend analysis and distribute it to certain management channels
  • You collaborate with local OE procurement counterparts to build up a joint understanding of Allianz procurement global operating model aiming to globally drive and ensure standardization, compliance and high data quality       

 

 

What are you made of?


Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in business or technical disciplines
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience in governance processes within large organizations
  • Team player with strong ability to communicate and to facilitate extensive discussion
  • Profound understanding of Governance & Control duties in the context of three lines of defense set-up
  • Knowledge in procurement related regulations (e.g. Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), Versicherungsaufsichtliche Anforderungen an die IT (VAIT), Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), German Supply Chain Act (GSCA)
  • Ability to perform advanced analysis of Corporate Rules Book documents and relations between policies, standards and functional rules

Preferred Qualifications

  • English business fluent in spoken and written, additional languages are a plus
  • Good understanding of Project and Process Management
  • Experience in Procurement as well as in AI related problem-solving is a plus    
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well versed in presentation techniques and common Office tools
  • Intercultural work experience
  • Strong service and customer orientation        
  • Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
  • Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
