Job description
The Role:
As a Social Media Assistant, you will support the global Social Media Manager in driving the Group’s online presence across social platforms (mainly LinkedIn). You will play a central role in coordinating content, ensuring brand consistency, monitoring performance, and fostering collaboration across multiple business units and teams worldwide.
Missions:
Social Media management:
- Content coordination: oversee and manage the Group’s global Social Media editorial calendar by coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders who create content across various teams.
- Content approval: review posts for brand consistency, tone of voice, and social media compliance. Ensure content follows platform best practices and internal guidelines.
- Content publishing: ensure timely publication through our tool Hootsuite.
- Community Management: handle the Group's community management on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook, monitoring incoming mentions and escalate relevant comments or issues to appropriate teams when needed.
Cross‑team collaboration:
- Lead the weekly social media meeting with group content stakeholders to review upcoming posts, performance, and needs.
- Support the social media manager in creating and sharing tutorials, guidelines and best practices with the local social media managers.
- Be on the lookout for the latest trends in the social media ecosystem (platform updates, and emerging formats) to identify opportunities that can be leveraged for the Group’s channels.
Performance & reporting:
- Monitor KPIs for weekly reporting of the Group's LinkedIn page.
- Assist in preparing performance reviews for quarterly reporting for the regions.
Strategic & project support:
- Support the Social Media Manager in strategic recommendations and large‑scale projects.
- Contribute to Social Search initiatives and actions.
- Oversee and help animate the employee advocacy program (managing licenses and publish content on the platform)
Profile:
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, curious about digital trends, and eager to grow within an international communications environment.
- Bachelor or Master 2 level acquired or being acquired – university or business school with an ideal specialisation in digital marketing.
- Ideally proven track record of experience in digital marketing, ideally in B2B, gained in-house or at a global digital agency.
- Working knowledge of social media.
- Content writing skills
- Hands-on and multi-tasting skills with a creative and team mindset.
- Proactive, organized, curious about digital trends, and eager to grow within an international communications environment.
- Fluent in English
