Team and Role Overview
As a Group E-commerce Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation within the global E-commerce landscape. This role is central to identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities, supporting cross-border sales processes, and aligning with our global E-commerce strategy. You will collaborate with international partners, regional sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful acquisition of new customers and the delivery of tailored solutions.
Your Main Responsibilities
As a Group E-commerce Business Development Manager, you will:
- Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition: Create and manage leads using E-commerce tools, campaigns, events, and digital marketing to achieve portfolio targets and acquire new customers.
- Sales Development & Deal Management: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and opportunity qualification to closing new business deals and implementing tailored proposals.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Coordinate and align cross-border leads and opportunities with global E-commerce strategies, supporting international accounts and partnerships.
- CRM & Sales Tracking: Track and manage sales activity using CRM systems, ensuring accurate pipeline management and reporting.
- Strategic Proposal & Negotiation: Develop and negotiate customized proposals, ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines, commercial terms, and geographical expansion plans.
- Collaboration & Quality Standards: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Risk, Fraud, Marketing) to implement group-wide quality standards and support scaling cross-border sales processes.
Who You Are
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented professional with the following profile:
- Proven Business Development Expertise: Demonstrated ability to generate and convert new business opportunities into long-term, profitable relationships, with experience in customer acquisition and stakeholder engagement.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the credit insurance industry, financial services sales, market specifics, and regulations, with the ability to navigate multidimensional channels and negotiate effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Capability to manage discussions on APIs and product features, alongside advanced IT skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel) and adaptability to new systems.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills across all mediums and organizational levels, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, matrix-structured environment.
- Market Insight & Negotiation Skills: Deep understanding of regional and multinational markets, with proven expertise in negotiating and achieving results.
- Language Proficiency: professional fluency in written and spoken English
