We are looking for a Global Portfolio Solutions Bordereaux Manager, based in London.

 

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Global Head of Portfolio Solutions, you will oversee the operational management of Facilities' bordereaux processes utilizing the distriBind tool across all regions. Your primary focus will be on achieving operational excellence and promoting a unified and efficient approach. This team manages delegated underwriting authorities and portfolios, working closely with the global and regional Portfolio Solutions teams, focusing on governance frameworks, process improvement, and proactive engagement with technical underwriting and operational aspects.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Leverage the full potential of the Bordereaux management tool distriBind.
  • Assist regional Operations Managers in their daily tasks, particularly during the onboarding of new facilities or when addressing booking process challenges.
  • Ensuring continuity and mitigating risks associated with IT operations or Governance.
  • Facilitate the seamless expansion of the tool's usage across various Lines of Business (LoBs) and regions.
  • Oversee and monitor a comprehensive end-to-end bordereaux booking process.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across LoBs and regions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Global Business Operations, Financial Operations, and Accounting to ensure smooth information and process flow.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Experience of delivering in an operational role (business operations, financial operations, business consulting roles or similar).
  • Proficiency in handling large volumes of data, including the ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile bordereaux reports.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools used in bordereaux management, such as distriBind or similar.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and detail to ensure the integrity of data and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of insurance principles, particularly related to delegated authority and bordereaux processes.
  • Ability to interpret data trends and insights to support decision-making and improve reporting processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners, ensuring clarity in reporting and data exchange.
  • Capability to identify discrepancies or issues within bordereaux data and implement corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to bordereaux reporting and insurance operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments, such as operations, underwriting, claims, and finance.
  • You should be able to integrate AI-driven insights into your work to optimize outcomes and support broader organizational goals.
  • Fluent English skills, any other languages advantageous.
