Fund in Fund Operations Specialist (f/m/d) - Limited to 24 Months - Allianz - Frankfurt

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Fund-in-Fund Operations team within Client Operations Europe.

In this role, you will manage key operational processes and actively contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and scalability. Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have the chance to participate in cross-country projects, support new product launches, and drive automation to optimize workflows. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping operational infrastructure and delivering best-in-class service to our clients.

This position will be based in Frankfurt.

What you will do

Participate in strategic and operational projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational infrastructure
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of process changes and system enhancements
Contribute to risk assessment, testing, and documentation updates related to operational improvements and service provider interactions
Define, implement and manage order setup for fund in fund investments (e.g., FundSettle) and perform eligibility checks, support New Product Initiatives
Drive automation and process optimization to increase efficiency and scalability
Support onboarding and documentation for new distributors and clients
Prepare and distribute fund-related documents to platforms and service providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar) with accuracy and timeliness

What you bring

Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration
Initial experience in Asset Management industry
Experience in fund operations, asset management operations, or custody services for target funds
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement skills
Ability to handle larger cross country operational implementation projects
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken; German is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Bloomberg, Microsoft Power BI
