About the job

Join Allianz as a Solution Architect within our IT team, where you will be at the forefront of managing and evolving our IT platforms for Agents and Customers.

Our team is responsible for the continuous enhancement of some of the Allianz Technology Spa platforms to meet new business requirements and for defining and implementing the strategy for technological evolution and new projects.

In this dynamic environment, we are seeking a young, dynamic, and innovative Solution Architect, specializing in software solutions design, to join our IT team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in developing cloud-native solutions, with knowledge of legacy technologies as well.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and evolving our software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and maintaining a global vision of systems and architectures.

What you do

• Design and develop state of the art software solutions using advanced cloud technologies and modern microservices architectures.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, consider group guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure scalable, robust, and secure solutions aligned with business objectives
• Manage complex integrations with heterogeneous systems using various integration methodologies to ensure seamless interoperability, adapting to the complexity and needs of a historic company.
• Conduct in-depth technical analyses and assessments of business needs.
• Apply ITSM principles to improve IT service management and optimize operational efficiency.
• Provide technical support and leadership to team members and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Analyze and monitor live solutions, assessing performance and platform evolution to ensure they meet strategic business goals.

What you bring

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field with at least 3 years of experience in the role of Solution Architect or similar positions.
• Extensive knowledge of modern architectures (Angular, Java, Node.js), microservices, and cloud-based solutions, with a particular focus on AWS and Azure.
• Proven ability in project management, Agile and DevOps methodologies. Ability to manage estimates and project budgets.
• In-depth understanding of ITSM principles and ability to apply them effectively to improve business processes.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork aptitude.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical thinking skills, with fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
