We are looking for a Claims Governance & Integrity Specialist (m/f/d), based in Munich or South Africa.

The Impact You Will Have 

Reporting to the Global Head of Claims Governance & Integrity, you will ensure all Claims tasks and processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements. You'll develop and oversee internal rules to adhere to Allianz and Allianz Commercial Policies and Standards, design Key Risk Controls with the CFO, and monitor governance KPIs through Closed Files and Business Reviews. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

· 
Ensure full compliance of all Claims activities, systems and processes are compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements applicable across all LoBs and Regions as well as with Allianz and Allianz Commercial policies and standards. 

· 
Effectively communicate and train the Allianz Commercial Claims governance requirements to all Allianz Commercial Claims team. 

· 
Develop and execute framework for effective Open and Closed File Reviews across all LoB's and Regions to monitor and ensure adherence to governance and quality standards. 

· 
Manage the global Claims authority framework and centrally support and control the delegation of authorities and Payment and Booking authorities in compliance with standards and guidelines. 

· 
Design effective Key Risk Controls (in alignment with CFO) and implement them in the Claims processes and systems. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

· 
Strong understanding of Claims-related Governance, Integrity, and Compliance, with the ability to translate them into an inclusive and effective Claims governance framework, such as guidelines. 

· 
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey ideas and messages engagingly. 

· 
Exceptional influencing abilities paired with cross-cultural competence to foster collaboration and understanding. 

· 
Skilled in negotiating favorable outcomes for Allianz Commercial and clients, adeptly managing conflicting priorities and navigating contentious situations with empathy and respect. 

· 
Experience in insurance roles where legal and regulatory topics were central, demonstrating a commitment to integrity and compliance.
