Job Summary: Claim Examiner
The Claim Examiner is responsible for performing daily claim processes according to service level agreements, ensuring service quality and productivity targets are met for travel claims. Key tasks include processing medical and extended warranty claims while considering policy validity, limits, and cost containment. The examiner will conduct medical reviews, assess claims, and provide management reports to demonstrate service standards. Coordination with internal managers and external providers is essential to manage claims efficiently. The role also involves preparing necessary documentation and delivering excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Accurate reporting and assessment of claim statuses and estimates are required, with regular submissions to the Medical Claims Manager.
Key Working Relationships:
This position requires strong leadership and the ability to build rapport with individuals at various levels within the company and with external partners. Success in this role demands dedication, trustworthiness, and persistence in promoting the company’s services.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in a related field
· Experience with insurance products and travel insurance is advantageous
· 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry is preferred, but individuals with no experience who have a strong interest are welcome to apply
· Proficiency in Word and Excel
· Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
· Good team player
· Proficient in English communication (writing, reading, speaking)
