At 25hours, we don’t just provide a stay, we create an experience. As our Assistant Director of Sales, you’ll be at the front line of that mission, playing a key role in generating business, building partnerships, and turning leads into long-term relationships. Working closely with the Commercial Director and Revenue team, you’ll champion everything that makes 25hours different — from our vibrant hotel spaces to our buzzing restaurants and cultural programming — making sure we’re top-of-mind for clients, agencies, and collaborators across Sydney and beyond.

· Drive business and build relationships across key segments — corporate, MICE, leisure, consortia, and entertainment — keeping the pipeline fresh and future-focused;
· Proactively seek out sales opportunities, from sales calls and site inspections to networking events and industry showcases;
· Develop tailored proposals, pitch creative ideas, and close deals that deliver both revenue and memorable guest experiences;
· Collaborate with the marketing and F&B teams on activations, packages, and experiences that drive interest and conversions;
· Represent 25hours The Olympia at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings — always flying the flag for the brand;
· Stay ahead of trends in travel, hospitality, and lifestyle to keep your sales strategy current and compelling;
· Manage key accounts and long-term partnerships with care, ensuring retention and repeat business;
· Contribute to forecasts, reporting, and analysis to track performance and uncover new opportunities;
· Bring the 25hours spirit into every pitch, meeting, and deal — bold, authentic, and always a little unexpected.
Qualifications
We are looking for you – with personality and that certain something …
· Proven track record in sales or business development within hospitality, lifestyle, or creative industries;
· You know how to connect with people, whether it’s a boardroom presentation or a casual coffee with a client;
· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and turn leads into wins;
· Experience in the Australian market is a must — you know the city, the players, and the pulse of the industry;
· Pre-opening or new-launch experience is a plus — you understand the hustle and the opportunity that comes with building a pipeline from scratch;
· You’re a great storyteller, communicator, and relationship-builder who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment;
· You’re creative, curious, and not afraid to do things differently — the 25hours way;
· You're up for trying (almost) everything once and having fun along the way.
