The Opportunity   

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.   

Your Tasks:

·  You are part of the Sales Force Excellence (SFE) team for Abbott Diabetes Care Germany to support our sales organization in its growth and maintaining its leading position in the Continuous Glucose Management (CGM) category
·  Collaborate with our Sales, Marketing and Commercial teams to design and implement new sales initiatives to drive commercial performance
·  Work with Commercial, Marketing and Sales to identify and drive opportunities to innovate our sales model – including account management, new channels (i.e., Remote Sales) etc., and develop incentives to support execution and ensure return-on-investment
·  Drive improvement in our sales tools (CRM, Sales Dashboards, Next-Best-Action Models etc.) and support sales in applying tools - in collaboration with Sales Training
·  Support regular Sales Performance Management, including use of Dashboards and relevant key performance indicators (KPI's)
·  Work with EMEA and Global Commercial Excellence Teams to deploy regional and global commercial initiatives in Germany
·  Perform all activities according to Abbott guidelines & policies, and ensure all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements

Your Qualification:

·  University degree in management or life science, MBA or equivalent post graduate diploma is a plus
·  Min. 2 years experience in similar roles within the Pharmaceutical and/or MedTech industry, Field service experience is an advantage
·  Strong experience in Sales Force Effectives methods and approaches - preferably in Pharmaceutical and/or MedTech industry (territory alignment, coverage modelling, etc.)
·  Analytical and business intelligence skills: ability to analyze data to translate market insight from internal and external sources into powerful insights
·  Strong experience in design and adoption of CRM solutions, experience with Veeva is a plus
·  Strong project or program management skills and successful experience in matrix
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in German and strong in English
