New Therapy Sales Manager-MEA and EM

This position works out of our UAE location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

About Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Division

As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

What You'll Do:

The position is required to cover MEA/EM in order to focus on new technologies (AVEIR, JotDx,…);

Market development plan for new therapies and Leadless support;

Understand the dynamics of the market, the healthcare and economic environment to identify opportunities to grow Abbotts market share for new technology portfolio;

Develop and document strategic objectives for area of accountability and translate into operating plans to grow new technology PF sales and profit in line with agreed targets;

Role model Abbott values and ensures all in-country activities maintain a positive customer perception of the Abbott new technology PF;

Identify, assess and appoint new distributors and develop new markets for new technology PF;

To interact with physicians, hospital education staff and Field staff to support questions related to Abbotts’ CRM New technology portfolio;

To conduct training sessions related to Abbotts’ CRM new technology portfolio and its clinical use; Builds and maintains relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) to encourage their continuous input on new therapies/technologies, emerging technologies and patient requirements;

To work with, support and interact with all Country manager within the region

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience within Medical Devices preferably in Cardiac Rhythm Management in the MEA region

Working knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures and practices. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. 

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.  Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Has a general knowledge of technical alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the systems environment
