JOB DESCRIPTION:
Main Responsibilities
1. Evaluate New Product Opportunities that are presented from the Region, based on understanding of the Market Size, Competitor Activity, and understanding of the doctor prescribing behaviour across the channels.
2. Coordinate the development of marketing strategies, advertising and promotion programs and ensure their execution.
3. Analyze market trends and sales potential.
4. Maintain contact with key customers to follow up promotion efforts and keep informed on needs of the customers.
5. Review the performance of existing product sales by channel and customer as appropriate, submit recommendation for change in the marketing plan to remedy the situation.
6. Develop promotional materials and marketing programs in accordance with cycle product promotion.
7. Drive strong execution of Marketing Programs to the field through structured communication and collaboration with the Sales Managers and Sales team.
8. Organize new product launch and all related activities including clinical trials, seeding programs and detailing cycles.
9. Identify new marketing opportunities through routine joint visits with field force. Provide technical/academic information to assist field force on product promotion and handling competition in partnership with the medical manager.
10. Develop training materials and conduct refresher-training courses to field force in partnership with the medical manager.
11. Drive strong medico-marketing programs along with the medical manager to tap undeveloped market segments, indications, dosages, new studies, or any other growth opportunity.
12. Independently Forecast the sales for the 28 month cycle for the responsible brands by channel based on the trends, competitive activity and macro and micro economic factors.
13. Manage the brand advertising budgets and ensure that budgets are annually spent and not under or overspent.
14. Build strong relationships with the Key Accounts to get market and therapy area insights and drive business opportunities.
15. Most importantly, have the ability to think on the brand, and come up with new opportunities to grow.
16. Work closely with the Sales team to drive the monthly ADS into actual sales numbers with strong collaboration and understanding of channel wise and customer wise sales.
17. Drive the Multichannel engagement on the brands to ensure strong Share of Voice and reach to the doctors.
18. Increase focus on the Medico Marketing Activities to enhance the engagement and education of the doctors on our products.
19. Report any product quality complaints and adverse events to Quality Assurance and Affiliate Safety Representative respectively
Skills and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related disciplines
• At least 5-7 years of product management, marketing experience preferably in pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in marketing of ethical products to health care professionals
• Innovative marketing strategies to drive the sales profit
• Strong analytical mind to resolve business challenges and able to work under pressure
• Strong sense of responsibilities, self-motivated
• Passion for the business and willing to go for extra mile
• Preferable good communication in English and Chinese
