The Opportunity
This Marketing Manager, Enterprise will work in our Lake Forest, IL office.
As the Marketing Manager, Enterprise, you’ll have the chance to define the customer facing Enterprise program across Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics (RMDx).
Key responsibilities include developing messaging and tools, to disseminate across the organization, that will be successful in meeting our customer’s needs. This will require developing programs, tools, messages, services, and behaviors that will produce maximum results in enabling targeted growth across our largest Enterprise accounts. This role will establish best practices to provide input into value propositions, including Abbott portfolio offerings, gain support for target accounts marketing strategies, and advance the Abbott brand in key accounts. This includes, but is not limited to, all marketing efforts for target accounts, including segmentation, guide market research/VOC, consolidate and translate economic messages from businesses, and support of division product launch strategies.
Core Job Responsibilities
· Developing multi-product marketing materials and programs for execution with target GPO’s and IDN's
· Responsible for development of Enterprise Account centric marketing materials, focused on broader value proposition across Diagnostics to administrative customers.
· Developing, quantifying, and delivering account specific Abbott value propositions to protect and/or gain competitive share in targeted markets.
· Creating, implementing, and owning Enterprise brand strategy and standards; relevant quality processes as required in the regulated requirement.
· Serving as the primary liaison with BU commercial marketing organizations to ensure Enterprise alignment in sales and marketing initiatives. Owning and managing communication, message dissemination to/from commercial BUs to Enterprise team.
· Creating key communications strategies, including portfolio positioning, messaging, digital and social channels and PR to build and enhance the corporate and product brands and achieve company objectives.
· Developing detailed plans in alignment with strategic objectives of larger-scale and/or complex programs, including master schedule, budgets, program milestones, and key programs tasks and deliverables.
· Developing tools, messages, data, programs, systems, services, and behaviors to enable maximum results in enabling sales packaging of our total Rapid Diagnostics portfolio. Identifying industry trends and changing market regulations and understands impact on strategic account.
· Leading and influencing organizational thinking on evolving healthcare landscape and partnering with customers and key stakeholders to navigate systems e.g., healthcare reform, distribution channel consolidation,
· Leveraging the full portfolio of Abbott Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics (RMDx) and be the primary Marketing liaison with Abbott Core Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Nutrition, and other business units to co create unique customer value to Abbott. This will include where appropriate, cross divisional client engagements.
· Partnering with commercial teams and Enterprise Leadership on event strategy and planning for key internal and external events to ensure consistent and appropriate corporate and brand messaging.
Required
· A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
· Ability to travel 25% to cover engagements.
Preferred
· Six or more years of progressively more responsible business experience within diagnostics, including product management and/or market development experience and/or a commercially focused role centered on driving revenue and collaborating closely with sales management.
· Documented record of delivering marketing information which adds value to management’s decision-making process.
· Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; the ability to lead a cross-functional team and communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
· Ability to effectively communicate, speak in public, and adapt to rapidly changing environments is a must.
· Proven success as an expert in all aspects of value-based, solution selling and ability to work in cross-functional teams to meet clearly defined objectives that benefit the company and customer.
· Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional, highly matrixed team, achieving results through influence, contributing strategic insight, and incorporating feedback from the field selling organizations.
· Experience with informatics and/or digital health and the impact to broadband strategies.
· Executive level business and financial acumen, strong team leadership skills, knowledge of all products and services, strategic thinking, and data analytics.

The base pay for this position is
$125,300.00 – $250,700.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
