JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott Informatics supports the rapidly changing data management needs with our STARLIMS solution product suite. Our world-class Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other informatics software solutions collect, handle, and interpret the lab data across a number of different industries. Due to our continued success at Abbott we have an open opportunity for a Marketing Intern or Apprenticeship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creative:
· Work closely with local teams and Product Managers on developing materials for a wide range of marketing initiatives (virtual events, online banners, brochures, case studies, whitepapers, etc.). Knowledge on graphic design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is a must.
· Digital Initiatives:
· Support on the creation of new content for Abbott Informatics websites, through the use of a CMS platform (Content Management System). Knowledge on HTML coding is desired
· Creation and monitoring of digital campaigns through Inbound Marketing platforms, such as HubSpot
· Preparation of posts for social media (LinkedIn)
· Quality/Regulatory:
· Preparation of PIBs (Project Information Bulletins) to be shared with local teams and senior management
· Prepare and route materials for internal approvals through a promotional material review platform
· Market research:
· Monitor the activities of major competitors and support with market research - actively seeking articles and publications to help us understand important aspects of the competition/industry trends
REQUIREMENTS
· Degree in Graphic Design or Marketing
· Skills:
· Adobe InDesign / Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator
· HTML
· Fluent English and French
· Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
