We are looking for a Lead Logistics Project Manager that will work in close collaboration with key stakeholders such as Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering, Powertrain Production Sites, and GTO Production Logistics.
 

Who are we?

Supply Chain Office is a new team within GTO Powertrain Production Logistics formed in 2022.

Our responsibility includes securing we have the best possible prerequisites in place enabling us to design the future “logistics machine” within the Powertrain Industrial system by utilizing input from technology roadmaps, footprint strategies, production process strategies, Volvo Operation Concept, supply chain strategies and flow principles.

 

In short, we are accountable to connect to all areas that will have an impact on the value chain and the overall performance. Our contribution will, amongst others, be measured on our capability to successfully convey the importance of “flow” to stakeholders in a way that we all together are able to create flow throughout the value chain with the aim of world class performance.

·  Connecting strategies & roadmaps with value flow creation
·  Ensuring we have best possible information as early as possible in initiatives that will impact our ability to perform
·  Ensuring targets & prerequisites are defined and aligned with key stakeholders – enabling best possible prerequisites for the preparation activities to follow and ensuring performance targets can be met
 

Your new role

Your main responsibilities will be:

·  Leading the logistics perspective in projects requiring global coordination, normally large projects with complex content, where multiple PTP sites are impacted and/or the change in itself presents new challenges in need of close collaboration with key stakeholders.
·  Secure Supply chain strategy implementation in terms of cost, stability and lead time for future supply chain setup´s cross Powertrain Production
·  Leading specific logistics projects

To be successful in your new role we believe the following experiences & knowledge are needed:

·  Deep understanding of the End to End Supply Chain in GTO
·  Experience from working in Logistic Operations in a managerial role
·  Ability to work in and manage cross-functional networks
·  Structured and well organized
·  Communication skills, bottom up and top down
·  Fluent in English
