People & Culture has an important and active role in the business at Volvo Buses. In this position you will support Global Bus Purchasing and Digital Services & Solutions as well as other local parts of the organization., the position is directly engaged in supporting the business.

 

The P&C Manager drives the strategic people agenda together with colleagues across Volvo Buses The position reports to the SVP P&C and is a member of the P&C and GBP management teams of Volvo Buses cooperating closely with other regional and functional P&C heads. 

 

Success in this position will require a sense of urgency, business connection and strong leadership capabilities to make people grow. It will also require a person who is strong at building relationships on multiple levels while managing ambiguity. The P&C Manager will need the ability to build trust and confidence as well as skills to contribute to tactical but also operational agendas. 

What you need to bring with you

•    Support the execution of People strategy.
•    Assure the implementation of relevant P&C initiatives within talent, competence development, employee experience and/ or compensation & benefits pending what is needed.
•    Maintain a high level of communication with management and actively support business initiatives as well as support organizational agility.
•    Advise, support and challenge in P&C related issues that drives business performance. Coach managers through complex employee relation situations
•    Utilize effective P&C measures to promote positive employee relations and employee engagement in the work environment with emphasis on diversity and collaboration across units, geographies, and cultures

 

As the ideal Candidate you will likely have several years of qualified HR experience on tactical and operational level, and experience from Swedish labour law. You are used to take an active part in business decisions and have a good understanding/ability to grasp how the business operates. People are important for you, you believe that how company operates makes People to succeed.
Further to this you are able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mind-set and successful people & culture leadership.  

 

You are used to work closely together with the business managers and have ability to design programs needed for your organization. Strong cross-cultural agility is required. As all documentation as well as meetings is performed in English, proficiency in the English language is a requirement.
