Installation Engineering Intern
TechnipFMC are looking for a bright and talented intern to work over the summer in a full-time capacity.
The purpose of the internship is to introduce engineering students to TechnipFMC Subsea Engineering roles and responsibilities.
Major Functions of the Intern will be to:
¡ Familiarize with Subsea Engineering deliverables, Interns will assist in creating and developing Engineering documentation throughout the internship.
¡ Assisting project engineers with the compilation of tender deliverables including installation method statements, equipment lists, field layout drawings, etc.
¡ Assisting project engineers working on projects with the compilation of project deliverables eg. installation procedures, rigging design calculations, mobilisation plans, etc.
¡ Miscellaneous engineering admin tasks to support project engineers on tenders and projects.
¡ Updating/ revisions of engineering technical notes.
Requirements
¡ Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Petroleum or Subsea Engineering
¡ Have been exposed to fundamentals in communication protocols and networking
¡ Willingness to have a customer-oriented attitude & the ability to work independently without supervision.
¡ Can demonstrate interpersonal communication skills.
¡ Fluent written and spoken English & strong verbal and written technical communication.
¡ Good PC skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software).
This opportunity is open to anyone in their 2nd - 4th year of studies, but not yet graduated.
The role will be working in Perth CBD on a full time arrangement.
