At Technip Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Second Officer to join our multicultural offshore workforce.

Job description

·  Junior DPO or DPO
·  The maintenance of all lifesaving and firefighting appliances / apparatus
·  Ensuring all navigational equipment is functioning correctly.
·  Preparation of the bridge for sea as required by statute and reporting equipment defects.
·  Navigation Officer for chart work and passage planning.
·  Ensuring all navigational charts and publications are corrected up to date and navigational warnings displayed.
·  Reports to Chief Officer.

·  STCW Certificate of Competency (COC) - Officer of the Watch - Deck - Unlimited A-II/1
·  STCW GMDSS General Operators Certificate A-IV/2
·  STCW Elementary First Aid A-VI/1-3
·  STCW Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting A-VI/1-2
·  STCW Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities A-VI/1-4
·  STCW Personal Survival Techniques A-VI/1-1
·  STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats A-VI/2-1
·  STCW Advanced MN Fire Fighting A-VI/3
·  STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats A-VI/2-2 - For those with designated duty
·  STCW Medical First Aid A-VI/4-1
·  STCW A.R.P.A (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) A-II/2
·  STCW Security with Designated Duties A-VI/6-2
·  DP Operator certificate issued by the Nautical Institute
·  ECDIS (Generic) IMO Model Course 1.27 A-II/1-3
·  Valid Offshore Survival certificate / Valid Offshore Medical certificate (OGUK & Home Country IMO) / OPITO CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training / Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Measurement
·  Offshore experience
·  Customer Focussed
·  Excellent spoken and written English
