At Technip Singapore, we are looking for an experienced Second Engineer to join our multicultural offshore workforce.
Job description
Ā·
The Second Engineer shall undertake duties as allocated or directed by the Chief Engineer and may be employed in either watchkeeping or day work duties as required and has the following responsibilities.
Ā·
Shall be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment alongside supervision of the Engineering department and allocation of maintenance and operating duties.
Ā·
Must be familiar with the machinery and systems with a full understanding of Company procedures, policies and instructions.
Ā·
Responsible for advising the Chief Engineer of spare gear requirements and planned maintenance system.
Ā·
Shall ensure that maintenance and repair work, done in the Engineering department is adequately supervised.
Ā·
Shall be appointed Deputy Safety Officer and assist the Safety Officer in the execution of duties.
Ā·
Review the Safety Notices, TMOS Circulars files and the TMOS Business Management System (BMS).

Ā· STCW Certificate of Competency (COC) - 2nd Engineer - Unlimited A-III/2
Ā· STCW Elementary First Aid A-VI/1-3
Ā· STCW Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting A-VI/1-2
Ā· STCW Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities A-VI/1-4
Ā· STCW Personal Survival Techniques A-VI/1-1
Ā· STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats A-VI/2-1
Ā· STCW Advanced MN Fire Fighting A-VI/3
Ā· STCW High Voltage (Management) A-III/2
Ā· Valid DP Logbook
Ā· Valid Offshore Survival certificate (OPITO BOSIET or FOET) / Valid Offshore Medical certificate (OGUK & Home Country Medical IMO) / OPITO CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training / Bi-Deltoid Shoulder Measurement
Ā· Extensive offshore experience
