Accountable for formation and documentation of SAP blueprints and guidelines for how the SAP system is managed.
Accountable for providing SAP ERP functional and technical direction to the project and enhancement teams.
Accountable for high-level functional designs and specifications for complex and major projects, applying suitable, standardized ERP technology and best-practice business processes wherever possible.
Manage Functional (SSLs) Solution Team
â˘Hire, develop and manage SAP ERP Solution Team IT resources, including Stream Solution Leads (SSL).
â˘Assist the SAP ERP Governance Manager to develop and maintain a competency model for the SAP ERP group.
â˘Develop a succession plan for all SSL roles.
SAP Functional and Technical Leadership
â˘Responsible for providing SAP ERP functional and technical direction to the business.
â˘Responsible for formation and documentation of SAP blueprints and guidelines for how the SAP system is managed.
oProvide governance rules around Technical (e.g. rules for interfaces, customization) and Functional (e.g. supported processes, data flows, configuration rules) aspects of the SAP environment.
oIn collaboration with the SAP Manager, incorporate the SAP group's strategy.
â˘Work with SAP ERP Governance to ensure implementation of the SAP blueprints and guidelines and to resolve deviations.
â˘Collaborate with the Project, Enhancement and Roll-out Delivery teams in the implementation of the SAP blueprints and guidelines.
â˘Accountable for analyzing recent SAP developments and technologies in order to understand their applicability to TFMC.
Project and Enhancement Functional Leadership
â˘Accountable for providing SAP ERP functional and technical direction to the project teams.
â˘Accountable for providing SAP ERP functional and technical support as needed to the enhancement team.
â˘Manage Subject Solution Leads (SSLs) to provide:
oInitial business analysis of the requirements from the business
oSupport to project delivery managers in creating estimates of level of effort for project activation.
oEstimates of level of effort for enhancements.
oHigh-level functional designs and specifications for complex and major projects, applying suitable, standardized ERP technology and best-practice business processes wherever possible.
oApproval of all functional design and specifications for projects and enhancements
â˘In conjunction with IT Business Relationship Management, create and manage system development and rollout roadmap to feed annual IT project portfolio process.
Process Improvement
â˘Accountable for working with the business to develop and manage the process improvement roadmap to:
oAssess, identify prioritize, standardize, and improve the current business processes enabled by SAP.
oImprove aspects of the SAP environment that will reduce the cost or effort to transition into the future ERP environment (S/4 Hana or Oracle) based on cost benefit analysis with business sponsorship.
oIdentify opportunities to reduce costs for licensing.
â˘Along with the Project Controls and PMO team, coach the project and enhancement delivery teams on working with a global team environment
â˘Manage the development of Training & Development material to build necessary competency for the SAP ERP group.
â˘Interface with the Run team to ensure that new releases are properly considered and act as an escalation point on critical or lasting incidents.
â˘Works with all SAP ERP groups to ensure that compliance standards (e.g. SOx) are satisfied.
Typical background and experience required:
Must have:
â˘Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems / Business /Management.
â˘10+ years' experience on SAP ECC functional development, including most of the following: FI, CO, SD, MM, WM, PS
â˘Strong understanding of master data
â˘A broad, enterprise-wide view of the TechnipFMC business processes and strategy
â˘Understanding of ABAP coding and experience working with ABAP programmers.
â˘5+ years' experience working with ERP roadmaps and / or blueprints
â˘Strong negotiating and communications skills.
â˘The ability to recognize functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies.
â˘Able to work effectively in a matrix-management environment.
â˘Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability.
â˘Understanding of project management knowledge areas.
â˘Management skills to lead and coordinate activities among several projects, programs and departments
â˘Open minded, to be able to work with people of several cultures and languages.
â˘Collaborative spirit, with a customer-service mind-set.
â˘Significant experience in international and large companies.
â˘Peer network in the SAP community.
Nice to have:
â˘Master's Degree in Information Systems / Business /Management.
â˘2+ years' experience with SAP S/4 Hana
â˘Experience with SAP Hybris Services / C4C and / or Commerce
â˘Experience with SAP HCM, CRM, MDG, Central Finance
â˘Experience adjusting and adapting a governance program structure as company direction changes.
â˘Experience developing and applying competency models
â˘PMP certification
