DEPARTMENT:

The TechnipFMC Engineer Development Program is a 2.5 year long technical development program that provides entry level engineers with direct experience in several different TechnipFMC engineering job roles and engineering departments. This program exposes the new engineer to different product lines, job functions and business processes within our organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Engineer Development Program consists of three 6-8-month engineering job rotations. Each of the three 6-8-month rotations typically consist of a product line group, technology group, installation (SPS or SURF) group or the subsea services group. Other 6-8 month rotations can consist of commercial groups, supplier quality group, manufacturing engineering or project engineering management. The program also consists of two 1-month rotations in a hands role supporting the various manufacturing shops. The program will work with the Rotational Engineer to develop interpersonal and professional skills to build towards the future of the engineer.
Once the rotation program has successfully been completed, the engineer and the program management team will evaluate where the engineer will be placed into the organization that is both fit for the engineer and meets business needs.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Ā·  Application and design engineering of subsea equipment including manufacturing and testing.
Ā·  Troubleshooting and problem solving of component equipment design.
Ā·  Research and development of new equipment.
Ā·  Analysis of components to determine failure mode and fatigue limits
Ā·  Provide detailed engineering planning and execution services for installation, intervention, refurbishment and maintenance of TechnipFMC subsea and topsides products.
Ā·  Work closely with the TechnipFMC project team, the customer team, and the TechnipFMC offshore service team for equipment support.
Ā·  Create detailed procedures, lift plans and perform installation analysis for subsea equipment.
Ā·  Manage TechnipFMC subcontractors providing equipment for the installation campaign to ensure proper engineering design and manufacturing.
Ā·  Actively participate in Technical Readiness Reviews and Risk Assessments for offshore execution.
Ā·  Influence product design to ensure ease of manufacture, assembly, test, installation and service.
Ā·  Serve as liaisons with design engineering and support creation of flow process.
Ā·  Support procurement Quality Assurance activities related to Supply Chain Management including sampling plans, receiving and source inspection, supplier evaluation, selection, training, communication, and supplier quality and process improvements.
Ā·  Execute significant work assignments, navigate technical solutions, product design decisions, project strategies, process improvement and/or promote client agreements that encourage successful project execution.
