Location: Rome (Engineering Department – Equipment -PVHE Section)

Short Job Summary:

He/She has technical responsibility of equipment requisitions up to delivery to site for one specific type of equipment.

Reporting Line:

Hierarchically reports to : Pressure Equipment Section Head

Operationally reports to : Lead discipline engineer.

Key interactions (internally, externally):

Externally : Clients (technical specialists, procurement team), Vendors.

Internally : Procurement, Planning, others engineering disciplines.

The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

· 
Perform mechanical design of pressure equipment in accordance with international codes and standards and using TECHNIP dedicated software.

· 
Resolve technical problems related to pressure vessel design and fabrication in line with applicable international code and standards.

· 
Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers.

· 
Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.

· 
Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.

· 
Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.

Requirements:

Must have:

· 
Engineering Degree (Master)

· 
Fluent in English

· 
Experience in Computer basic software (MS office, Acrobat) and AutoCAD

· 
Capability to perform the work on time with the required Company quality level

· 
Communication skills

· 
Attitude to work in team and in an international environment

· 
Availability to international mobility for either short or long term assignment

Nice to have:

- Shop experience.

- Knowledge of equipment.
