At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with Controls & Automation experience to work at our Gremp Campus located at Generation Park in Northeast Houston.

Responsibilities:
The Controls & Automation business unit delivers control system solutions for energy, infrastructure and manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our project team to implement and test automation solutions in accordance with project requirements. The project engineer is expected to demonstrate the ability to manage project deliverables in accordance with the project schedule and budget. This includes design and configuration of control systems of varying complexity. The candidate must demonstrate process and project management skills to function effectively with customers, peers and the product development team.

In addition, you will:

¡Read and review P&IDs and system schematics.

¡Design, read and implement control system function block logic.

¡Design, review and implement both the software and hardware components of a control system from instrumentation to the operator HMI.

¡Drive towards automation of tasks and processes

You are meant for this job if:

¡Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, with focus on industrial process control.

¡5+ years of experience within configuration and design of industrial control systems on the hardware, software or modelling side.

¡Understand dynamics within linear and non-linear systems in general, but upstream oil and gas processes

¡Understand pros and cons of industrial protocols and how they are used.

¡Understand basic skills within networking and the Windows and Linux operating systems.

¡Experience in using textual or visual coding languages.

¡Experience with working with vendors and follow up deliveries.

¡Strong oral and written communication skills in English
