At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer who can join our Well & Flow Control team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Job purpose
·  Responsible for the successful execution of the assigned sub-system work package or modular products in a project, tender or FEED study that meets the specifications, standards, functional and performance requirements within the established budget and schedule through the project life cycle from the quotation phase through design, manufacture, assembly, test, transport, installation and commissioning.
·  Co-ordinates with both engineering and non-engineering disciplines such as planning, procurement, manufacturing, system testing and offshore operations
·  Interfaces as technical & commercial focal point with the internal project team and external customer, vendors and subcontractors, as needed.

You are meant for this job if you possess as following
·  BS or MS in Engineering.
·  Required 3+ years of relevant industry experience with expertise in TechnipFMC products or subsystems engineering and manufacturing execution.
·  Knowledge of at least one Subsea product line (Well Completions/Workover, Subsea Manifolds, Connections and Controls & Automation) and good awareness of overall subsea Production Systems.
·  Competent in the application of TechnipFMC engineering software (TCE, SAP, Microsoft Office, UG, Mathcad).
·  Good understanding of API and ISO codes applicable to subsea system, Engineering practices, design methods & calculations.
·  Strong ability to read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information / documentation & consider design or process changes to ensure functional and cost effective results.
·  Must have the drive and initiative to work in a team, ability to communicate, compile information and propose engineering decisions for implementation
·  Able to work independently on specific scope and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced project environment.
·  Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
·  General understanding of economic/commercial factors impacting technical decisions (cost, margin, profit, variation orders, schedule).
·  Good ability to lead specific tasks and support a team
·  Ability to interact with customers to provide technical advice, manage expectations, and deliver on commitments.
·  Ability to thrive in fast pace working environment to quickly address any issues that may arise.
·  Fluent in written and spoken English. Good in both verbal and written technical communication.
·  Good PC skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software).

Main Accountabilities

·  Lead execution of assigned tenders/projects which may involve independent execution of tender/project scope, addressing all tender/project technical needs, interact with customers for any technical needs, or mentoring others in the execution of tender/project.
·  Review and interpret customer technical specifications and industry codes.
·  Provide full technical support in timely manner to ensure smooth manufacturing operation which may include support for equipment or tool machining, fabrication, assembly and test, inspection etc.
·  Creates, reviews, and approves ECN packages for part reports, drawings, specifications, procedures, and tender/project documentation in accordance to TechnipFMC Global Work Instruction and Standards.
·  Ensure that tenders and projects meet specifications, standards, all associated requirements, and delivery schedule.
·  Analyze designs, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during tender, product design, manufacturing, fabrication, operations planning, onshore operations, offshore operations etc.
·  Investigate non-conformances and provide technical disposition. Identify root cause of any technical problems and propose solutions to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
·  Actively consult and collaborate with other departments where necessary to ensure timely
·  execution of all assigned deliverables. These may include but is not limited to quality assurance, quality control, product planning, project management, offshore service technicians, service base personnel, field development engineers, system engineers, engineers from other product lines.
·  Ensure use of standardized products, procedures, and documents as best as possible, and actively seek and pursue ways to standardize on engineering deliverables, processes, and documents.
·  Responsible for quality and on-time-delivery of assigned tasks.
·  Ensure good personal time management and weekly time entry into SAP system.
·  Execute assigned work conforming to TechnipFMC BPMS, client/internal/industry specification, TechnipFMC QHSES policies, TechnipFMC design guidelines etc.
·  Actively participate in planning and scheduling of assigned projects or project being tender.
·  Provide input to and support improvements to processes or work instructions.
·  Assist in making accurate cost estimates for tenders / projects.
·  Mentor and check the work of drafters / designers / engineers of lesser experience.
·  Conduct internal and external training on subsea products and technologies.
·  Any other work duties that may be delegated by the Engineering Group Leader or Manager.
