Position Title

Process Engineer - Tendering

Reports To

Tender Manager

PURPOSE:

Summarize briefly the major function and purpose of the position.

·  A Process Engineer will be responsible for the concept selection and process equipment design of oil&gas separation projects/solutions.
·  A Process Engineer will be involved in the process side of a project starting at the initial RFQ stage up until the final delivery of the project.
·  Through the focus on a smart, lean, cost effective process design the Process Engineer will ensure the best possible added value solution (cost basis, return on investment) is presented to the customer.
·  As a Process Engineer you will ensure that the latest state of TechnipFMC's Process technology is applied in the process design and engineering within the project/proposal
·  Review of Project specification (Feed to EPC Bid stage) requirement and to solve customer needs by providing value engineered application based solutions.
·  Develop & prepare system design, technical write up & data sheets to meet the customer specifications and applicable standards.
·  Obtain clean quote from factory for TFMC products.
·  Develop specification for bought out items and obtain competitive quotes directly or with help of virtually located purchasing team.
·  Obtain quotes from other company business units and maximize use of company products and solutions.
·  Follow and maintain a library of application based Templates for budgetary bids with a goal to generate budgetary bids within least possible time.
·  Organize the technical and commercial quote structure based on the customer RFQ expectations, including coordination for trade compliance, legal commercial terms & conditions, bid bonds etc.
·  Participate in internal bid review and strategy meeting, including initiating management approval process.
·  Do design, detailed costing and proposal preparation. Participates, as needed, in the technical negotiations with the customer.
·  Follow applicable processes and procedures in every aspect of their daily activities

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

What are the minimum qualifications an employee must have in order to perform the duties of the position? (I.e. educational requirements, licenses, certification, work experience, training etc.)
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
·  Minimum 3 years process design experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas sector.
·  MSOffice
·  Process Simulation software (HYSYS, OLGA, Pipesim, Unisim)
·  Experience in Tendering / Proposal
Desired Qualifications:
·  Master degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred, alternatives are allowed)

·  Detailed separation process and system design through the use of In-house sizing software.
