Onshore/Offshore Piping Installation Designer

About You:

·  With a technical background such as IUT Mechanical Engineering, BTS or equivalent, you have experience in Piping Design or General Design in the field of Oil & Gas or Industrial. You have 3 to 10 years' experience in an equivalent position.
·  You are aware of current environmental issues and interested in sustainable energy production solutions (Low-Carbon Hydrogen, Offhsore Floating Wind, Asset Lifecycle Excellence). You may have already worked on projects involving hydrogen, decarbonisation or other innovative technologies.
·  You master 2D drawing tools (Autocad, Microstation) and 3D design (AVEVA E3D, Hexagon S3D). You are mobile for short trips in France and abroad.
·  Your French is fluent and your English is operational.

About the Team:

The "Design of Units and Piping" team is at the center of Engineering studies on all our T.EN projects.

·  First of all, it is one of the few teams working on all project phases (proposals, pre-projects, FEED, EPC), all types of projects (Onshore / Offshore) and all product lines / technologies (LNG / Refinery but also Hydrogen, Carbon Captur, Offshore Wind, Mining & Metals, Plastics recycling,...)
·  Then, in the execution phase, it is at the center of schedules and processes, as a general installation (no one can move forward without the factory plan) as an architect or project manager.
·  Finally, by being at the origin of major quantities / costs in the cost and planning of Construction.
·  Among the largest teams in terms of staff, it is the main driver of our Engineering studies.

 

About the Job:

·  We are currently looking for an Onshore/Offshore Piping Installation Designer F/H to join our team based in Nanterre, France.
·  Under the responsibility of a Piping Installation Specialist Group Manager, you will be in charge of the design of Piping Installations / General Installations in the fields of Oil and Gas or Energy Transition.
·  You will work in collaboration with the other members of the project team, as well as with the interlocutors of the different disciplines in interface (Material, Support, Stress Calculation, Processes, E&I, HVAC ...).
·  Your main missions will be to design and freeze the installation of equipment, piping, access and maintenance in accordance with the rules of implantation and installation, as well as to update the Master documents of the discipline according to the results of your studies.
·   You will also be required to present and justify your study during design reviews, as well as to propose improvements to methods for the department.
