Job Purpose

·  Ensures that Asiaflex's requirements for Occupational Health, Safety and environmental initiatives is implemented according Malaysian Regulations, Clients Requirements, Corporate requirements, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and any other requirements that may arise from time to time
·  Supports the function with training documentation of HSE system
·  Ensure the successful start-up and operations of Asiaflex without any accidents

Main Accountabilities

·  Participates in the preparation of Job Safety Analysis, risk assessments and environmental aspect impact.
·  Conduct in house HSE training or briefing and implement the 5S program.
·  Prepares and issues standard HSE procedures for the site as well as conduct audits and inspection of work areas.
·  Conduct workplace inspections, audits on PTW and risk assessment at the workplace and ensure compliance.
·  Lead the incident investigation, complete the incident reporting and follow-up action for continuous improvement.
·  Prepares HSE performance reports and implement as well as coordinates the permit to work system.
·  Participates in Asiaflex's continuous improvement program, observation and audits.
·  Apply the TechnipFMC Group values charter (Ethics, Social, Environmental, Health and Safety).
·  Perform other duties and functions as may be required by Superior.
·  Comply with BEST Vision, Quality, Health and Safety policies.
·  Authorized to issue stop and non-conformance report to all functional units and contractors on HSE system related issues .
·  Decides disciplinary action taken due to non-compliance of HSE requirements onto contractors personnel as well as Asiaflex staff.

You are meant for this job if:

·  Minimum diploma in Safety related discipline or,
·  Minimum Diploma in Technical related discipline with additionally a certificate in SHO from NIOSH or equivalent
·  Minimum 2-3 years experiences in HSE administration and operations and (for minimum diploma holder)
·  Minimum > 10 years working experience in HSE related fields (Non-Diploma certificate)
·  Excellent understanding of the impact of HSE to the manufacturing operations and its environment
·  Meticulous is carrying out inspection and audits and follow up with other functional units
·  Able to train and educate workers on the various aspects of HSE
·  Good command of written and spoken English and able to write HSE reports
·  Dynamic and tactful personality with excellent interpersonal, communication and computer literacy skills
·  Very high multifunctional involvement in coordinating the HSE system
