Job description

The Naval Architect Engineer will join a team of about 40 people in the Naval Engineering and Marine Operations Department. The team responsibility is to deliver to project teams, from conceptual phases to EPCI engineering studies such as motion and acceleration analysis, model tests campaign management, Hull sizing, Stability performance, offloading systems availability, mooring analysis, offshore installation analysis (Load Out, Float over, Towing, mooring pre-lay and Hook-up). Your areas of activities will be focused in the determination of floating unit performance, either from a seakeeping, stability or installation perspective.
·  Perform Naval Architecture studies, issue reports, manage drawings production, support design and constructability review.
·  Analyze results, suggest and implement methodologies or design optimization,
·  Understand and account the constraints of other disciplines,
·  Assume responsibility for production of technical documents,
·  Promote cost efficient solution
·  Promote the TechnipFMC Quality, Health, Safety & Environment values
·  Report to Project management and/or lead discipline
·  Respond to Client comments and ensure its ultimate satisfaction,
You are meant for this job if
·  The candidate should have 1-6 year of experience in Naval Architecture engineering and ideally a first experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
·  He must be Graduated in Naval architecture engineering from an “A+/A” category Engineering school or equivalent.
·  Experience in Project execution (or Leadership) in naval engineering for R&D conceptual/FEED, and/or EPCI phase
·  Seakeeping analysis, Stability performance, Offloading analysis (side-by-side and tandem), Mooring analysis,
·  Oil & gas industry standards' knowledge,
·  Application of IACS classification rules, and IMO standards,
·  Model testing preparation, management and calibration,
·  Offshore operations (Mooring Hook-up, Float-Over, Load Out, Towing).
·  Creative and positive personality, “solution oriented”

·  Good communication
·  Quality / Client oriented work
·  Autonomous and Self-producing person
·  You speak English and are mobile for short or long trips overseas.
