POSITION PURPOSE:

A technical expert in the field of multiphase and wetgas metering for MPM (MultiPhase Metering) Products. Supports Western Region MPM service organization on service support activities. Performing regular support to customers and their field operations. Performs and supervises on-site operations in line with job specific procedures.

•Service Execution with the MPM product line, per TechnipFMC Execution Processes and Work Instructions.
•Adherence to industry standards.
•Leadership of a fast-paced Western Region service team.
•Support and management of Western Region service schedule and deliverables.
•Prioritize and anticipate internal and external risks and challenges and recommends best practice solutions and mitigation strategies.
•Technical support to the Sales, Projects and Service on multiphase metering.
•Participate and provide input to flow loop tests and field trials taking place in Western Region.

POSITION DUTIES:

•Provide MPM and TechnipFMC Subsea Services service engineers, as well as customers and well testing companies with installation, commissioning and start-up related support.
•Communicates with customers, project management, and other internal groups regarding service status and issues; tracks and leads service technical issue resolution.
•Supports tendering activities for new service opportunities.
•Perform in-situ verification services for MPM customers.
•Generate single- and multi-stage flashing configurations to be used with the MPM meters in the field.
•Assist customers with expert technical advice and information, configuration / set-up of MPM meters, review / analysis of well test data, conduct meter sizing evaluations, PVT analysis and modelling.
•Troubleshoot, light repair or replace mechanical and electronic parts and update software associated with the MPM meters.
•Assist in developing professional training programs / courses and material to be used for training customer personnel on MPM products.
•Coordinate and hold professional training courses for customer and FMC personnel on configuration, operation and maintenance of MPM meters, at company's or customer's locations.
•Assist in updating user manuals, data sheets and product documentation on a regular basis.
•Ensure safe working practices and that all field operations are in accordance with the requirements of the company's security and QHSE management system, procedures and work instructions, customer's requirements and applicable local laws and regulations.
•Actively ensures that the personal health & safety of self and co-workers are preserved at all times.
•Takes necessary actions to prevent undesired events from occurring and actively reports occurrences, if any.
•Provide on-site or remote technical support to customers who are using MPM meters in their operations.
•Perform installation, configuration and commissioning of MPM meters in the field.
•Keeps direct manager fully informed on a regular basis of job progress.
•Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service of the company.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

¡  Bachelors degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with at least 5-years of Engineering experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
¡  Demonstrated experience in leadership of technical teams in execution of projects constrained by safety, quality, delivery and cost requirements.
¡  Ability to make independent system recommendations utilizing advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
¡  Basic knowledge of hydrocarbon chemistry, fluid dynamics, fluid modelling, PVT and fluid behavior.
¡  Basic experience with operation of multiphase metering, PVT sampling / modelling, well test data acquisition, analysis and operation.
¡  Experience with customer support and working as an instructor for technical training courses.
¡  Capable of liaising with customer reservoir and production experts to solve metering issues.
¡  Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively transfer subject matter expertise.
¡  Good communication skills in Spanish and Portuguese languages an advantage.
¡  Proficient skills in computers, network and Microsoft Office products.
¡  Excellent organization and customer service skills.
¡  Ability to travel on short notice; Offshore, Gulf of Mexico and some international travel may be required.”
