Job description
JOB SUMMARY & OBJECTIVES;
· Act as the central point of contact on all IIF activities within RAPID. This will involve managing logistics and communications between designated packages and JMJ Consultants/Project Coordinator to plan ahead for workshops, meetings and visits and make sure that quality checkpoints are in place.
· Contribute to the RAPID's IIF Team's strategy development with energy and ideas
· Be willing to understand fully the type of work that is planned to be achieved through implementation of the IIF programme.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES;
· Coordinate logistics and planning for all IIF activities.
· Administration support for the IIF Leadership Team.
· Support the IIF Manager in progress reporting, planning ahead and resourcing decisions.
· Hold all electronic engagement information and owns material standards.
· Respond to IIF Manager and JMJ Consultants/ Engagement Coordinator emails, telephone and written requests and queries timely.
· Be the centre for IIF Leadership communication.
· Responsible for all workshop & activities requirements, venue booking, logistics and material shipping.
· Provides relevant information on a regular basis in time for LT (Leadership Team) meetings.
· Ensures good working relationships with all the main & subcon coordinators, champions and members of the LT.
· Schedule regular project reviews.
· Collect and compile lessons learnt.
· Taking part in development events and becoming an IIF Orientation/ SSK Leader, supports and co-leads with JMJ consultants during TTT workshops.
· Be an Ambassador for IIF.
CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS;
· Diploma
· Experience of liaising with internal and external clients and suppliers.
· Experience of supporting a manager or team who travels widely and spends little time in the office.
· Personality
· Self-starter.
· Excellent planning abilities and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Resourceful problem solver.
· Open to personal growth.
· Key Skills
· IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet searching, touch typing
· Project coordination, logistics, travel coordination.
· Excellent written and verbal skills.
· Fluent in English.
· Some event planning experience.
· Excellent team player and team-builder.
· Enjoy taking the initiative and working independently.
